Faith lietuviškiau skambėtų kaip Tikėjimo Balandė yra gana
savito balso ir ryškumo britų atlikėja, kuri dėl savo specifinio dainavimo kaip
ir Amy Winehouse Lietuvoje yra pasmerkta būti tiesiog nepopuliari, nes tokią
muziką klauso pogrindžio „gyventojai“ – nepykit už išsireiškimą.
Šiaip turiu visus tris
studijinius Palomos Faith albumus ir galiu teigti, kad atlikėja meistriškai
sukasi tarp džiazo ir pop muzikos. Nepaisant savo aistros džiazui, šiandien
klausausi labiau jos pop dainos „30 minute love affair“, kuri įtraukta į antrąjį
studijinį atlikėjos albumą „Fall to Grace“ (2012), kuris Britanijoje tapo
dukart platininiu. Antrasis singlas „30 minute love affair“ yra labiausiai
kritikų pripažinta albumo daina, kuri galbūt pasaulyje ir nepadarė didelės
šlovės, tačiau paklojo nemenkus pamatus ir pripažinimą tarp šiuolaikinės pop
muzikos kritikų ir „įdomesnių“ klausytojų.
Nepaisant to, kad daina
iš albumo viena geriausių, man asmeniškai ji patinka savo tykiu skambesiu,
kuris kiek primena Gwen Stefani pirmojo albumo skambesį ar legendinės Annie Lennox
stilių. Nepaisant panašumų, Paloma Faith su šiuo albumu (iš esmės ir kitais
albumais) išlieka savita ir unikali atlikėja, tad nekantrauju išgirsti jos
būsimas dainas, na, o kol kas pasiklausome šios dainos:
