V V Brow arba Vanessa Brown gimė 1983 metais Didžiojoje Britanijoje ir yra vadinamojo indie muzikos žanro atlikėja, tačiau eksperimentuoja ir su kitais žanrais. Savo solo karjerą pradėjo 2006 metais, ilgą laiką atmetusi įvairių įrašų kompanijų pasiūlymus, įskaitant ir labai populiarius prodiuserius. Būsima atlikėja turėjo labai aukštą intelektą, puikiai mokėsi, tačiau atsisakė studijų Oksforde dėl muzikos. Nuo mažumės ji grojo smuiku, vėliau fortepijonu bei trimitu. Jai nesvetimas ir hiphopas, kurį atlikėja labai mėgsta, būtent jo elementai naudojami jos dainoje „Marginalised“, kuri iškart patraukė mano dėmesį. Daina bus įtraukta į šių metų spalio mėnesį pasirodysiantį albumą „Am I British Yet?“ (Ar aš jau britė?). Tai bus jau ketvirtasis atlikėjos solo albumas, skirtas rasizmui, nelygybei ir kitoms socialinėms problemoms išreikšti. Siūlau paklausyti šios dainos.
