Viena iš rimčiausių pretendenčių šiemet Lietuvai atstovauti „Eurovizijos“ dainų konkurse yra kurį laiką iš Lietuvos muzikos padangių dingusi atlikėja Beatrich su daina „Like a Movie“. Pastaroji daina vis dar skamba po šio savaitgalio pusfinalio atrankos, kuri pirmu numeriu pateko į finalą.

Daina primena 2000-ųjų dekados lengvą pop roko dainą, kokių galima aptikti, pavyzdžiui, Pink dainų repertuare. Kaip tą vakarą komisijos nariai pastebėjo, daina labai kabina ir, tiesą sakant, vos išgirdus vieną kartą dažnas gali ją paniūniuoti, tad kūrinys turi savito parako, tačiau dainos tekstas šiek tiek primityvokas. Besiklausant „Like a Movie“ tampa akivaizdu, jog klausytojas kelia klausimą: o kur aš kažką jau panašaus esu girdėjęs? Nepaisant kai kurių abejonių, visgi daina, manau, neliktų nepastebėta, juolab kad Beatrich scenoje (ar tik aš vienas įžvelgiau panašumų su aktore Kristen Stewart?) žiūrisi labai laisvai ir lengvai.

Gerai, ilgą laiką galvojau, kad šis lietuvaitės hitas visai ne lietuvaitės, o kokio nors jauno vaikino iš Vakarų muzikos industrijos. Žodžiu, dar vienas populiarus hitas, riedantis kaip banga per pasaulį, tačiau absoliučiai nustebau, kai sužinojau, jog dainą „Good Things“ atlieka kukli mergaitė iš Šilutės, pasivadinusi Beatrich. Ir tai toli gražu ne vienintelis jos hitas, sakyčiau, viską, ką ji paruošia ir pateikia, yra pasaulinio lygio.
