Šios dienos daina: Maria Haukaas Mittet - "Hold on be strong" [lyrics]

Šįkart šios dienos dainos rubrikoje svečiuojasi norvegė Maria Haukaas Mittet (Storeng) (g. 1979) su gal ne vienam lietuviui žinoma daina „Hold on be Strong“, kuri 2008 metais „Eurovizijos“ finale užėmė penktąją vietą. Atlikėja iki 11 metų augo Norvegijos provincijoje ir tik persikėlus į sostinę Oslą dėl puikių muzikinių duomenų pradėjo savo muzikinę karjerą. 2005 metais atlikėja išleido savo debiutinį albumą, tačiau tik 2008 metais sulaukė šalies ir tarptautinio pripažinimo su antruoju albumu, kuris vadinasi lygiai taip pat kaip ir šis singlas,

Dainą atlikėjai sukūrė jaunesnė kolegė Mira Craig, kuri dar kartu įrašė duetu dainų albumui. Numeris vienas šalyje tapusi daina tapo klausoma ir aplinkinių Skandinavijos šalių. Lengvo turinio daina lyg ir primintų septinto dešimtmečio balades, muzikos pagrindą sudaro pianinas, truputis džiazo ritmo, truputis bliuzo užuominų, tačiau labiausiai daina įsimenama dėl puikios melodingos aranžuotės ir lengvai perteikiamo ilgesingo teksto. Man kažkada ši daina paliko itin gerą įspūdį ir atmetus tą faktą, kad ši daina eurovizinė, ją galima klausytis visiškai ne kaip eurovizinę. Pasiklausykime:
