Šita daina yra stebuklinga! Jau su ankstesniais albumais ir visa muzikine kūryba Filipinų atlikėjas Bruno Mars atkreipė milijonus klausytojų visame pasaulyje. Nors paskutinis jo mini albumas buvo taip pat labai populiarus, tačiau muzikiniu stiliumi priminė ankstesnius, buvo tarsi atsikartojamas sėkmingo ir jo įtvirtinto Michael Jacksono stiliaus atgaivinimas, todėl, bent jau man, trūko iš esmės naujos krypties. Prieš daugiau nei 8 mėnesius Bruno Mars išties nustebino pristatydamas su atlikėjų komanda naujausią ritmenbliuzo ir soulo kūrinį Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Silk Sonic - Leave the door open.

Bruno Marso apsijungė su Anderson .Paak ir lapkričio 12 dieną pristatė duetinį albumą „An Evening with Silk Sonic“. Duetas pasivadino Silk Sonic ir beregint tapo populiarus. Billboard reitinge albumas užėmė 2 vietą.

 

Kalbant apie jų sėkmingą pirmąjį singlą, galiu pasakyti, kad seniai begirdėjau tokį puikų aksominio ritmenbliuzo skambesį, kuris vėlei nunešė į XX amžių. Aksominis ir švelnus skambesys duetui atnešė Amerikos muzikos apdovanojimą už geriausią ritmenbliuzo dainą. Lietuvoje daina pasiekė 10 poziciją. Naujojoje Zelandijoje, Kanadoje ir Amerikoje singlas tapo dukart platininiu. Kritikai apie šį kūrinį sakė, jog tai „šlovingo 70-ųjų ritmenbliuzo nostalgiškas priminimas, kurį įsiminus gerai galvoje, galima spragsėti pirštais“. Ką gi, man belieka tik pritarti.
