Šią dainą „Nice To Meet Ya“ išgirdau vienoje užeigoje dar gerokai prieš karantiną, berods, 2019 metų rudenį. Vėliau sužinojau, kad ši paprasta ir nuotaikinga daina priklauso airių atlikėjui Niall Horan (g. 1993) iš jo antrojo solo albumo „Heartbreak Weather“, kuris pasirodė 2019 metų spalio mėnesį.

Atlikėjui kelias švietėsi nuo pat 2010 metų, kai jis ir kiti „One Direcion‘s“ vaikinais buvo suburti bendram muzikiniam projektui per „X faktoriaus“ projektą. Tai buvo kultinė viso dešimtmečio jaunimo grupė, kurios, tiesą sakant, taip niekada neklausiau. Štai iširusi grupė ir kiekvienas pradėjęs solo karjeras savaip, man atrodo, tapo kur kas įdomesniais, drąsesni ir atviresni eksperimentuoti.

Niall Horan singlas „Nice To Meet Ya“ Australijoje ir Kanadoje pelnė auksinį singlo sertifikatą, Britanijoje – sidabrinį su 200 tūkstančių pardavimų. Billboard pasiekė aukščiausią 14 vietą, Lietuvoje – 25 poziciją, aukščiausią vietą Čekijoje – 3 tarp klausomiausių naujienų.

Linksma daina su Džeimso Bondo dainų stilistika kviečia paprastoms ir nuotaikingoms šėlionėms, laisvam bendravimui ir šokiui. Nežinau, kaip jums, bet paskutiniu metu mane ši daina priverčia kilstelėti užpakalį nuo sėdynės. Pasiklausykime.

Visą savaitę skamba šioji melodija mano galvoje. One Direction‘s lyderis Harry Styles pradėjo muzikinę karjerą savo neseniai išleistu albumu, kuris taip ir vadinasi, sakyčiau, neoriginaliai „Harry Styles“. Nors albumas daugelyje šalių debiutavo pirmose pozicijose, tačiau nemaža dalis One Direction‘s gerbėjų jau spėjo ir nusivilti.
