Nesu tikras, ar šiemet „Eurovizija“ man patinka, bandau suvokti Lietuvos persūdytą kasmetinį dėmesį šiam paprastučiam šiek tiek politizuotam konkursui, tačiau nori nenori pasiduodi nešamas to informacinio atlydžio su visais ižais ir ledokšniais. Turiu galvoje, kažin ar turiu šiemet muzikinius kūrinius (be lietuvės), kurių klausyčiausi, pavyzdžiui, važiuodamas į darbą. Be italų, kuriuos esu čia pristatęs, pasirodymo ir kūrinio, tikriausiai netikėtai paskutinę pusfinalio dieną man bemaž pradėjo patikti švedės Cornelios Jakobs atliekamas „Hold Me Closer“. Paprastutė daina apie santykius tikriausiai niekam nieko naujo lyg ir nepasakys bei nenustebins, betgi žinote, švedai moka pateikti neblogų kūrinių ir jų pasirodymai pusfinalio pasirodymais neapsiriboja. Tai itin gilios eurovizinės tradicijos šalis, tad visai nenustebčiau matydamas šią atlikėją kokiame finaliniame septintuke, turint galvoje, kad ryškių favoritų Ukrainos ir Rusijos karo kontekste neturime be pačių ukrainiečių.
