Dar viena daina, tikriausiai pati populiariausia visuotiniu mastu ir komerciškai sėkmingiausia iš naujausio Ellie Goulding albumo „Brightest Blue“, pavadinimu „Close To Me“. Daina, kaip teigė pati atlikėja, atsirado kartu su drauge įrašų studijoje Los Angele kuriant. Ji norėjo, kad daina būtų apie žmogaus nepasidavimą, todėl pirmuosius melodijos akordus sukūrė tiesiog gitara. Besivystant dainai, ji kvietėsi atlikėją Diplo, o šis įtraukė ir Swae Lee, todėl iš esmės dainoje suskamba net trys skirtingi atlikėjai.

 

2018 metais įrašinėdama dainą atlikėja išgyveno sunkius laikus, ypač dėl asmeninių santykių, todėl dainą inspiravo noras tiesiog užsimiršti, kaip ji teigė, tai kvaila, bet tikriausiai būtina išgyventi kiekvienam žmogui. Daina buvo sėkminga JAV, ten singlo parduota daugiau nei vienas milijonas ir daina tapo platinine. Estijoje ji pasiekė 38 poziciją, o Latvijoje 2. Tęsiu dainų klausymus iš naujausio Ellie Goulding albumo „Brightest Blue“ albumo, kuris buvo mano šios vasaros atradimas. Naujausia daina, kuria noriu pasidalyti, vadinasi „Power“ (liet. Galia). Kai daugelis populiarių atlikėjų vaikosi aštunto dešimtmečių „madingų“ sąskambių, Ellie Goulding šiuo atveju laikosi atokiau. Pati komentuodama dainą, išleistą gegužės viduryje, sakė, kad daina atspindi jaunos moters nusivylimu santykiais šiuolaikiniame pasaulyje, kuriame santykius matuoja ir banaliai pateikia žiniasklaida, o madingai besirengiantys ir išvaizdūs pasiturintys žmonės tėra tik tušti žmonės, trokštantys lengvos galios.

Šiandien dalijuosi dar viena Ellie Goulding daina „Love I‘m Given“ iš jos naujausio puikiai skambančio albumo „Brightest Blue“, kuris pasirodė šių metų vasarą. Nors daina niekada nebuvo išleista kaip singlas, tačiau atlikėja visgi reklaminiais sumetimais nufilmavo oficialų vaizdo klipą ir pasidalijo su gerbėjais. Aksominis, trapus ir šiek tiek „ateiviškas“ atlikėjos balso tembras išties gerai dera bendrame albumo kontekste. Atradau daugybę hitų sau, todėl noriu pasidalyti vienu kūriniu iš to sąrašo.

Daina „Worry About Me“ nelegaliai buvo nutekinta šių metų kovo pradžioje, todėl atlikėja greitai susizgribo ir išleido legalų singlą kovo 13 dieną, o netrukus paskelbė ir vaizdo klipą. Dainą ji įrašė kartu su amerikiečių reperiu Blackbear. Dainos žanrą sunku tiksliai apibrėžti, veikiau tai pop muzikos miksas su hiphopo muzika. Muzikos kritikai gyrė muzikos ritmą ir atlikėjos aksominį balsą, kas, bent man, yra svarbiausias dalykas klausantis E. Goulding dainavimo.
