Naujausia daina mano pasiklausymo sąraše atsirado būtent Sia & Kylie Minogue duetas su daina Dance Alone. Pastaruoju metu neatrandu naujos muzikos, tiesa, nelabai jos ir ieškau, tad buvau pamiršęs, kaip man tiesiog patinka klausytis važiuojant į darbą paprasčiausios muzikos, kuri skamba šviesiai ir pakiliai. Matyt, „Eurovizija“ bus šiek tiek tą domėjimąsi muzika sumaišiusi, bet tiek to. Naujausia daina „Dance Alone“ yra dešimtojo Sios albumo „Reasonable Woman“, išleistas ne taip ir seniai – gegužės 5 dieną, o daina „Dance Alone“ tapo antruoju šio albumo singlu, išleistu vasario mėnesį. Sia šiai dainai bendradarbiauti pasikvietė australų itin populiarią atlikėją Kylie Minogue, kuri pastaruoju metu vėl labai ryškiai sužibo muzikoje, išleisdama gana sėkmingą albumą.

Visgi pats Sios albumas buvo sutiktas gana drungnai, jis susilaukė pusėtinų vertinimų ir, aišku, neprilygo didžiajam atlikėjos sprogimui 2014 metais, kai ji išleido pop muzikai įtaką padariusį albumą „1000 Forms of Fear“, kuris suformavo galutinai atlikėjos įvaizdį ir įtvirtino ją ne tik kaip atlikėją, bet ir dainų rašytoją bei kompozitorę, kuri per dešimtmetį padirbėjo su didžiausiais pop muzikos hitais ir Sia tapo kokybės ir populiarumo ženklu.

Naujausia daina gana popsinė, tokia disco stiliaus ir šiuolaikinės pop muzikos miksas. Dvi australės sukūrė šviesią dainą, pagal kurią norisi tiesiog šokti, tad žinoma, kad Australijoje daina pasiekė pirmąsias pozicijas, šokių JAV Billboard reitinge 8, Kroatijoje 10 vietą, o Estijoje 13. Kai tiek dabar daug muzikos ir tiek pasirinkimų internetinėse platformose, sunku konkuruoti, nepaisant to, kad daina albume nėra bomba, man ji labai patinka dėl savo skambesio ir lengvumo. Tikriausiai neįmanoma niekaip sureitinguoti nei geriausių knygų, nei geriausių dainų, nei geriausių... kalėdinių muzikos albumų. Šiuo metu turiu 8 kalėdinių temų albumus, kurių klausausi. Iš viso to, man atrodo, Celine Dion „These Are Special Times“ pasirodęs 1996 metais pats skaidriausias šiomis kalėdinėmis dienomis.

Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce... kai kam šis sceninis vardas nesako nieko, kai ką erzina, o kam jis itin svarbus. Po to, kai neseniai įsigijau Beyoncės penktojo albumo „Beyonce“ vinilinę plokštelę, vėl grįžau prie jos kai kurių kūrinių. Būtent iš šio albumo vienas geriausių kūrinių, žinoma, yra singlas „Pretty Hurts“ – lėtai skaudi baladė apie savęs paieškas ir tikslo siekimą. Kartu su daina puikiai kalba pats vaizdo klipas, kuris iškart įsimena dėl savo „Mis slaptosios agentės“ turinio. 

Daina buvo parašyta hitų meistrės SIA, kuri pirmiausia dainą pasiūlė Katy Perry, vėliau, kai atlikėja atsisakė, buvo daina pasiūlyta Rihanna, tačiau ir ji daina nepasinaudojo. Ritmenbliuzo stiliaus baladė tiko Beyoncei ir jis tapo ketvirtuoju šio albumo singlu. Daina pelnė nemažai įvairių apdovanojimų, tačiau, kaip jau įprasta, baladės netampa dideliais dlekanių hitais, tačiau Billboard šokių tope pavyko pasiekti pirmąją poziciją. Šios dienos daina: Katy Perry - "Chained To The Rhythm" ft. Skip Marley

Paskutiniu metu Katy Perry buvo lyg ir nutilusi muzikos padangėje ir ruošėsi naujam muzikiniam etapui. Nesu tikras, ar ji man itin patinka kaip atlikėja, tačiau kiekvienas jos albumas vis pateikia ką nors įdomaus pop muzikos padangėje. Nors jau baigėsi era, kad popsas užkniso juodai, nes pasaulyje tiek muzikos žanrų, kad galima kiekvienam atsirinkti, ką klausyti.

Naujausia Katy Perry daina „Chained To the Rhythm“ buvo kiek netikėta, nes tikriausiai daugelis tikėjosi kokio ypač „kabliuojančio“ lengvo pop ritmo, kuriam nuskambėjusi jau visa salė galėtų niūniuoti paprastą melodiją. Kitą vertus, galima tikėtis ir šio to naujo, nes paskutiniu metu pop atlikėjai nesibaimina eksperimentuoti. Lengva daina gręžiasi į pop muzikos praeitį ir lyg primintų devinto dešimtmečio dainas su šiuolaikinės muzikos ritmais. Praktiškai prie šito naujojo hito padirbėjo kone garsiausi pasaulinių hitų kalvės meistrai, įskaitant ir visų pamėgtą SIA bei Max Martin. 

Hitas beregint tapo pirmu numeriu viršūnėje Latvijoje, JAV, Lenkijoje, Čekijoje, Meksikoje, Kroatijoje ir dar daugelyje šalių.
